It blows incredibly well, actually...which is the point. I purchased this along with the 80V Greenworks Pro mower, string trimmer, two 2Ah batteries, and a charger. I've never had to care for a lawn before, but my new house came with a lawn and no HoA to manage it, so...batter up! This blower is lightweight and has three power settings that vary from "moving dry leaves" to "moving anything not staked to the ground". I generally mow my small lawn (1/12th of an acre), trim the edges, then clean up with the blower all with one 2Ah battery charge. The blower has more than enough power to move anything kicked up by the cutting and trimming process. I usually run it on the 2nd of the three power settings. My neighbor's professional landscaper is fascinated by the Greenworks Pro line. He said this blower has at least as much power on high as his backpack gas blower. On high it should run for about 30-35 mins with the 2Ah battery. It's about 20% the volume of a gas blower. The same is true for the entire line. Electric tools are just much quieter and cleaner than their gas brethren. So far this certainly seems like a professional caliber tool. It easily exceeds what I need it for and legitimately impressed an actual professional landscaper. I'm impressed with the entire Greenwork pro line, including this blower. No regrets on this purchase. I highly recommend the entire line.

I am very impressed with this blower. I've gone years without using one because my old one used was so loud it practically required wearing hearing protection. Plus, I always hate when I can hear a neighbors blower six blocks away, and I didn't want to be 'one of those guys.' :) But this unit is remarkably quiet for the power, especially at lower (but still effective) settings. I tried the lower and higher settings, and it delivered a consistent and effective force throughout. The battery thoughtfully has an indicator that you can interrogate to see the power level before you even attach it it to anything, and the charger charges quickly. (The battery and charger are sold separately, but are required.) The battery went from 3 bars to 2 after about 15 minutes of constant usage at varying power levels. It's a little like other cordless systems (Dewalt comes to mind) — probably best to have a second battery around, and they are not cheap. I'm so impressed that I'm contemplating the Greenworks mower to replace our sad, old B&D. Fortunately, the Greenwork system is modular, so the 80v batteries fit across the 80v range. And, for the ultimate litmus test, my spouse didn't even know I was blowing the leaves around today. And she's more sensitive than most to the typical levels of noise these things can make!

WOW!!!! I got tired of dragging a cord around my yard, going around trees, shrubs, cars . . . I wanted a cordless because I love the convenience of my cordless trimmer. I've tried other cordless leaf blowers that friends have and also had a Pullen (?) that died shortly after buying it. I wasn't impressed enough to trade for my corded. Because of the 80V/125mph AND another reviewer's high marks, I thought I'd try the GreenWorks Pro. I was also moving to MI where we have a LOT of oak trees!!! This was SOOOO powerful in our .3 acre Indiana yard that has very mature trees including a black walnut!! On highest speed it would even blow the walnuts away. The battery time was decent on high power, enough to blow the grass clippings and a LOT of the leaves. THEN I get up to MI where I found a tremendous amount of fallen oak leaves on the one acre yard. If you've ever seen them, they are huge and very heavy. It was wet outside, but this blower had NO problem moving those wet leaves! I mean A LOT of leaves in a BIG pile. I could use high power to move them in a general area, then use the lower power (there are three levels) to move them close together in a compact pile. When the battery died, which it did pretty much without warning, it charged very quickly (I wish I kept track of time so I could include it). If you don't use it after a certain amount of time, It shuts off and you have to turn it back on--a battery saver. Otherwise, it stays on at at the same power you were just using. I found myself cleaning everything with it . . . the leaves/sand in my car and garage. The driveway was a snap. Where there was water in the garage, so I used it to move the water and let it dry completely. If you are willing to pay the price, this blower is worth it! The ONLY drawback (and more for myself because I have a REALLY bad back) is the weight. That is because of the battery. I'm sure there isn't any way around that with as much power as it has. The other cordless tools I have are much lighter with enough power for me, but not the case with the leaf blowers. Awesome product AND shipping. Nothing to assemble either. Its always best to fully charge before first use, but I couldn't wait to test it and once I started, I used it till the battery died. haha!

You can't ask for much else in a hand held blower. You'll want ear protection when using high setting but that's expected. I use it all day for my lawn business. The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to keep it from falling on it's side on the ground because the base is narrow. If you need high power for extended use I suggest using the 4ah or larger batteries. The 2ah will noticeably lose power in the last half of charge due to voltage sag. I've been using it for about 6 months nearly full time job (30-90minutes a day), it's been very reliable so far.

This thing is almost fun to use. Part of that is certainly its tremendous power but mostly it's not having to drag around any cord. GreenWorks makes several 80-volt garden tools (I have all of them except for the snowblower). All are well made as far as the limitations of plastic will allow. All have 4-year warranties and tech help is readily available. The main secret of the success of GreenWorks is the 80-volt battery. It provides all the tools with plenty of power and lasts long enough to do most jobs (I have 3 such batteries and use them for longer jobs). GreenWorks just introduced a new 82-volt series of tools, which unfortunately are incompatible with their 80-volt system. However, the 80-volts GreenWorks tools are so good that it might be a good idea to wait until the 82-volt tools are readily available and then look for bargains in the older 80-volt offerings.

After a recent move, where we left a large property for a small one, I really didn't want to get into cans of gas and oil sitting around again. Despite hiring a lawn service, you still need to clean up between visits and I needed something. The reviews on this were strongly positive so I decided to pull the trigger on this and see for myself. Since I had used a powerful 2-stroke backpack blower at my old place, I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I was. I'm not saying that this is as powerful as the backpack, but it is really solid. You can feel the back-pressure firmly pushing the nozzle away from the ground, and it really moves the leaves. It's balanced nicely, so easy to use. I take the point of the user who warned that the battery can be damaged if you leave it on the charger, and I agree that we shouldn't be seeing that any more, but as long as I know about it, I'll just not do that. The pluses heavily outweigh that small drawback.

I have been using this for over a month now and like it more and more as I get more experience to use it more effectively. I already had two batteries from a Kobalt string trimmer. The GreenWorks tools are identical except for the groove locations in the batteries and tools - they are offset from each other by a fraction of an inch so that they are not readily interchangeable but the Kobalt tools and batteries cost much more than the GreenWorks equivalents which I learned only after starting with the Kobalt string trimmer. So I just cut matching grooves in the batteries so that they are interchangeable in either charger or tool brand - it was easy using my table saw. I was always the guy who hated to hear the neighbors blowing off the driveway and sidewalk with a loud blower while I used a rake - well now I use this blower very often because it is VERY effective and not nearly as loud as the neighbors' blowers. If they had been using one of these, I would have had a much better opinion of blowers a long time ago. Highly recommend this tool!

This is my first battery operated blower, which I avoided for years because of reviews saying they were under-powered and/or had super short run times. I'm here to tell you that this has neither of the problems, at least for my uses. This blower has been nothing short of superb so far. I bought my first blower about 17 years ago when I bought my house here in Tucson. I have a rock yard with mesquite trees and other bushes, and the rocks/driveway/sidewalk get absolutely covered in pollen (happening right now) and small leaves at times in the year. A lawn vac does a better job of cleaning and I went that route for years, but I get totally covered in dirt when using a vac, and they are harder to lug around. A blower does a decent job while leaving me relatively clean. I hate gas blowers (get to listen to the pros use them at neighbors homes and hate the loud noise and smell) and have been using corded blowers, mostly from Black and Decker. However, it takes me a good five minutes or more just to get the cords out and plugged in to get ready to start, and then the cords sometimes get in the way and usually make me backtrack around bushes. Enter this superb blower. Wow. Just wow. It's significantly quieter than my corded blowers, and compared to gas - forget about it. This thing is quieter as I'm holding it than the gas blower the landscaper uses when he's half a block away. In fact, I was so excited when it first showed up on a Sunday afternoon that I immediately unpacked it (which took all of about a minute because there's only two pieces) and started using it with the 80V battery that I already had, and it didn't occur to me until later in the day that I hadn't put in my earplugs. It's not _silent_, for sure, but it's a heck of lot quieter than I'm used to. Performance is plenty good for me. It has three main settings (low, medium, high), and then you can further tailor the air flow by how much you depress the trigger. I'm lazy and just pull the trigger all of the way back. On low, it makes quick work of pollen and tree litter on concrete such as my driveway and sidewalk - soooo much faster and easier than sweeping like I've done for years, and quiet enough that I can do it before I leave for work and not be "that guy" who wakes up the neighborhood. On medium, it works great blowing off the rocks in my main yard. It's so powerful on medium that (like my other blowers) I need to be careful not to blow the rocks around. On high...well, I hardly ever go there because it's so strong, but I think that you'll be pleased. I was pretty stunned at the air flow on high, and it forced my arm back the first time because I wasn't ready for it. Run times are very impressive using my 2A battery. I haven't actually timed myself, but I've blown off my yard twice on weekends so far and blown off my concrete daily. I always try to keep my blowing under an hour on weekends because, again, I don't want to be "that" guy. I probably used it for about twenty minutes at a time switching between medium and low, and my battery still lit up two out of the three indicator lights. I certainly might have used it longer, but I'm trying not to exaggerate. The ease of use is simply amazing compared to my corded models. Before work, I can just grab it, push the on button, walk out to spend about a minute blowing off the driveway and sidewalk, turn it off, and set it back down in my garage. Done. The fact that it's faster to use this than to grab my broom is fantastic to me. This is my fifth GreenWorks product (and I'm overall pretty happy with them), and I already had a 40V and 80V batteries and chargers, so this was a good deal for me because I didn't have to pay for the battery and charger. I almost bought the one with the battery anyway because I thought that I'd need more run time and would want a spare battery, but I haven't come close to needing another one. If you already have one of their 80V batteries, even the 2A one, I suggest getting this and not another battery to start to check if you'd want any more run time than you already get. Plus, if you already have one of those batteries, you know that they charge up pretty fast. Overall, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend this blower. One of my best lawn care purchases ever.

I use this thing all the time. It has lots of power, is not too loud, is not too heavy, and most of all it does not put off any gas smell. I use this blower to clean out inside of my house, outside (of course), dry my car, blow air at the kids(for fun), clean spider webs from hard to reach places, etc. The most important thing is that it blows clean air without gas/oil/smoke so it can be used indoors in the garage, to clean the car, inside the house, and on the car (to dry it). These things can not be done with a gas blower. It is also much easier to use than a gas blower. (no messing with starting, spark plugs, mixing oil in the gas, buying gas at gas station, buying oil mix...just goes on and on) It is also pretty quiet so I can use it at 8am on the weekend without annoying my neighbors. This is one of my best buys. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I have been using it for about 6 months.

This is my first battery operated leaf blower. I only tried it because I was fed-up with gasoline and the associated negatives. Previously I had always felt that a battery powered leaf blower probably wouldn't meet the challenge. This one both met and exceeded my expectations. I tried it in my basement which opens to the outside and in my garage. In the past I couldn't use a blower in those areas because the gas fumes set the fire alarms off there and throughout the house. This worked out just great. I used it in these enclosed areas on low power so that dust and lighter materials didn't swirl everywhere. Low setting did the job here. On driveways and walks I used in on medium power. This worked fine for removing dust, small gravel and other small debri. I used it in the grass to relocate leaves. Here I used any one of the 3 setting depending on the need. A few small leaves matted in the thatch many times could be moved on low power by locating the nozzle near to them. If that didn't work a higher setting was use. In general low settings moved light leaves and higher setting were used for many or heavy leaves. The developed velocity at low setting was fine for light debri. Bulk/heavy responded better to the high settings. For these light chores I prefer the battery operated over the gasoline blower. For long hours and heavy duty the gasoline blower would be best. I suspect many home owners would benefit from this batter operated blower.
